(from a HS guidance counselor named Pat) I was recently holding down an algebra II class. The topic of the movie 2012 came up. Best i remembered, the [Mayan] calendar ends at Dec 21, 2012, hence the end of the world. Then, with a serious face, I announced that I did not think the world would last till then. Why? the US Navy brought me some desk top calendars, and according to them, the earth ends on June 30, 2010.
