Giant photos?
Hey guys, though I've done a post on this latest internet phoney, I've still been getting a lot of private inquiries on this. Let me be clear. These photos are known fakes. Do not put any confidence in them. Do not rush toward anything that seems to "help" the Bible. The Word does not need our help. True there is much science, logic, and history that supports the Bible, so strong it is unquestionable. But the "Nephalim bones" are not like this. They are —exactly— like Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, the city of Atlantis, the Gospel of Judas, the DaVinci Code, and many scores of such things offered up by the world to Bible-believers as distractions to the work of the Kingdom. What's the best way to deal with distractions?—take your eyes off them as quickly as you can recognize them. Then continue to serve God in the work of the Kingdom.

Noah's Ark found??
Okay guys—chill before gettin' into a tizzy—over the latest Ark craze. The wood was C-14 dated 4800 yrs old. Evo's are already making fun of us for "suddenly" trusting C-14—and they should! Evo-assumptions ignore C-14 equilibrium problems, correcting for which should give a date more like 7500-8000 yrs, even though Noah cut the wood 4358-4458 yrs ago. Plus, don't think unbelievers will come to Jesus—just because we find the Ark. Jesus said, "If they believe not Moses and the prophets, neither will they believe if one rises from the dead." He was right! The world's fascination with the Ark reminds me of Herod's request for Jesus to delight him by performing a miracle, like it was some kind of a magic trick. new missing link not, pt 1
There are some definite problems and questions with this "new" missing link fossil. First, it was really found two years ago, and just now (when they really need some good press) they've decided to "unveil" it to the media in glowing accounts. It is an Australopithecine like the famous "Lucy" fossil. So, all of the votes of no confidence coming in on Lucy, would apply to Australopithecus Sediba then, too. They say it has human hips and legs, but they only show pictures of the skull and collarbone. They do tell us it had a chimp-brain like Lucy. They claim the face has Homo sapiens type features. I have yet to see where they get this specific date of 2 million years--no mention of Potassium-Argon or anything. I am suspicious that they have no date and just assigned it a place in the evo time-line that would be best for their story to look good. We must wait a few weeks on this one, for the rest of the info to finally trickle in ... as it always does. Keep thinking meanwhile. Dr J
