Koala Bears & Noah's Ark

Dr. Jackson,

1 - In the Bible there is no mention of any boats until Noah
builds the ark.
2 - If this is so, the only way Noah could
have gotten animals such as kangaroos, and Koalas,
which are indigenous to Australia, on the boat is if
Pangea actually existed before the flood.
3 - How did animals like the Kangaroo and Koala get
back to Australia, and why aren't they perhaps living
where the ark landed.

Humans Living All Together

Thanks to Daniel for this link.
Famous evo-expert on Neanderthals
Erik Trinkhaus (Washington U in StLouis MO) reports in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences on a modern human chin bone found in China in the same layer as Neander bones. "Previous evidence for co-existence [of Neanders and moderns was found in] Europe, Western Asia and Africa, but this suggests the range of co-existence spread all the way across Asia, which is an enormous difference. This is the first evidence for that." The Biblical history of humans says that all tribes dispersed to the far corners of the earth at the time of the Tower of Babel -- over 100 yrs after Noah's Flood. "It is interesting because we get the persistence of archaic humans, pre-modern humans, further north across all of Eurasia." Erik, that's because all of them -- Neanders, Cro-Magnons, Heidelbergs, Sapiens -- were all descended from Noah, who was descended from Adam, who was created in God's image! These were all people -- not "monkey-people!" Keep thinking, readers. DrJ

Big Bang Question

Dr. J,
What exactly is your view on the Big Bang?
I am doing a video study featuring Steven C. Myer
and he made a compelling case for the Big Bang stating
that it isn't a "causal theory".
He said that the Big Bang Theory only further proves
that the universe was made in an instant.
Which would coincide with Biblical Creation.
Thanks! Cory

Oldest Galaxy "maybe baby" only!

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20101020/ap_on_sc/us_sci_oldest_galaxy Thanks Steven for this link.

In the new study, researchers focused on a single galaxy analysis of hydrogen's light, pinpointing the age, Says the Paris Observatory in the Oct 20 Nature online report. "A redshift of 8.6 corresponds to a galaxy seen just 600 million years after the Big Bang." That's if you are sure that the speed and distance away from us really tells us time--and if Big Bang is true. It has very little of the carbon or metal that we see in more mature stars and is full of young, blue massive stars. If they really are going by BB and "stellar evo" theory, then "young" stars should not have any metals at all in them, until they are near going supernova--"late in life" only."This is the first time we know for sure that we are looking at one of the galaxies that cleared out the fog which had filled the early Universe." The "fog" of left-over pre-star hydrogen--would only be expected to be there--if BB were true. Why isn't it there? One of the surprising things about this is that UDFy-38135539 seems not strong enough to clear out the hydrogen fog. There must be other galaxies, fainter and nearby companions, which helped. Oh--that's convenient--they're too dim to see--but they "must be" there ... since the "fog" should be ... since the BB process must be true! I see alotta faithin' goin' on right here! Without this the light from the galaxy would have been trapped in the surrounding hydrogen fog and we would not have been able to detect itOr----there never was any "fog" to begin with. Why didn't they even think about that possibility? Well, because--- What's most interesting is that this fits with theories about when the first stars and galaxies were born. Hmm ... "there have been other claims about the age of distant space objects that have not held up to scrutiny. And some experts have questions about this one." Well, I guess that makes DrJ "some expert" -- 'cuz I'm waitin' for the rest of this story, too. Keep thinking. DrJ

L-Amino's Part 4 (end)

Dr. Jackson, I recently noticed an article in an electronic "science" magazine titled "Ancestral Eve' crystal may explain origin of life's left-handedness" A short version can be found at this link:

I was curious if there is a Biblical/Creationist explanation to the left-handed orientation of life. Respectfully, Dan in IA

Ardi's NOT Grandma!

FoxNews /Associated Press 5/27/2010 -- Thanks CL & Bonnie, for the link.
"Last fall, a fossil named 'Ardi' shook up human evolution.
New critiques question whether Ardi really belongs on the human evolutionary tree...even though it was closer than Lucy to the common ancestor of humans and chimps...the Human Evolution Foundation in NJ said features of teeth, skull indicate."
Uh-oh, all is not well in evo-land!
Two other experts said they think it's too early to tell.
"Until there is a more complete description of the skeleton, one has to be cautious...Will Harcourt-Smith, at the American Museum in NY, said he could not say whether [Ardi critics were] right or wrong. Rick Potts, at the Smithsonian Museum, said " I think it's just too soon to tell exactly."
Well, what about what the guy who discovered it said, in an Associated Press phone interview when he unveiled Ardi to the world? "This is not that common ancestor, but it's the closest we have ever been able to come." Tim White at UCal-Berkeley

Go figure that one out, evo's! Keep thinking! DrJ

Diamonds aren't Forever -- God is.

Evo's have a problem with life on earth containing only L-amino acids, versus the 50:50 mix of L & D that non-living systems --always-- produce. So, how did the first living system ever get the billions of pure-L molecules together ... to form the very first ... living thing?? Dan in Iowa asks about an article in the journal Science, referred to at the PhysOrg link above. Evo's like Michael Ruse (in the "Expelled" movie) will say it was -- "crystals!" that made the L-AA's for the first life forms. The PhysOrg article even calls that first crystal "Eve." The Bible calls Eve "the mother of all living." So, now they wanna replace Eve -- with a rock! It's said "diamonds are a girl's best friend" -- but now -- that's so not! DrJ
