Neanders & Ice Age

You talked about the Neanderthals having big noses due to the Ice Age. If the Ice Age occurred, when was it and is there any Biblical reference? Thanks,Your brother in Him, Eric at SE MO State U



Eric, the Ice Age didn't "give" Neanders those noses -- they just had them -- which worked out pretty good for them during the Ice Age. The Bible doesn't mention the Ice Age. All the folks in the Bible histories, lived in the Middle East. If an Ice Age happened today, Palentinians would never know it, unless they watched it on CNN. Ice Age cold never got close enough to the equator to be noticed. Probablythe Flood triggered global cooling in the century following it, an effect lasting only 300-500 yrs. DrJ
